This heart-wrenching incident is from Nalanda district of Bihar. In Nonia Vigha village of Hilsa police station area of Nalanda district, the in-laws killed the married woman for not getting dowry and then buried the dead body in several pieces and buried it in the ground. The matter came to light when the relatives got information that Kajal is not in the in-laws’ house and her mobile is also being told off. When the family feared something untoward, the search for Kajal was started. The family did a lot of research for several days with the help of the police. During this, his body, buried in the ground in a field in Nonia Vigha of Hilsa, was recovered in several pieces. Traces of burning Kajal’s body by sprinkling petrol have also been found from the spot.
Married on June 27 last year
Let us inform that Kajal Kumari, daughter of Arvind Singh, resident of Salimpur in Patna district, was married on 27 June 2020 with Sanjeet Kumar, son of Jagat Prasad, resident of Nonia Vigaha of Hilsa police station area. At the time of marriage, Sanjit Kumar was working as Group D in Railways, where he was recently promoted to the post of TTE. As soon as Sanjeet was promoted, another demand of four lakhs was made as dowry. The relatives of the deceased told that in February this year, 80 thousand rupees were given, yet after not giving more amount, Sanjeet Kumar along with his family members killed the pregnant wife Kajal.

Case filed against five including husband
Hilsa SHO Shyam Kishore Singh, who arrived to investigate the matter, said that at present, the father of the deceased, Arvind Singh, has filed a case of brutal murder of Kajal against a total of 5 people including husband Sanjit Kumar. The police is engaged in the investigation of the whole case and is conducting raids to arrest all the accused.
